And my deepest apologies. With the California Statewide Special Election on May 19, it got super busy before, and after... well, I was just lazy.
I'm currently on vacation in Washington, D.C. Having spent a week here, I've walked about 30 miles, total (I'll total it up when I get home tomorrow and add it to my previous amount.) We haven't eaten a ton. We've been on the go so much, that we've been eating breakfast in the hotel, and usually a snack and then dinner.
It's been an amazing trip. My favorite place to eat was "Good Stuff Eatery," the restaurant that Spike from Top Chef owns. It's a burger joint and has fabulous burgers, wonderful fries and a mayo bar. I highly recommend it.
Like I said earlier, we've walked about 30 miles -- probably more than -- and have had a blast. We've seen alot, but seven days is not enough time to see everything.

I have an update to my WL. Since I've been working with the trainer, I'm officially down 15 pounds, and I actually (most of the time) look forward to going to the gym. Yay! Who'd have ever thought! Once I get home, I will be going back to the gym (though not on Tuesday, it is my birthday after all, and who wants to go to the gym on their birthday?) and getting back to my routine. I never realized how much vacation messes with a routine.
Anywho... just wanted to let you all know what's been going on. I promise I'll write more when I get home.
